about

On 3rd September 2007 a band called Tellison released their debut album by playing an instore at Banquet Records in Kingston. It was a hot day and a busy show. So hot and busy in fact that, after just a few songs, lead singer Stephen H Davidson collapsed during the band's performance. No one appeared to notice. Coming to, lying on the ground, whilst the rest of his band continued to play, seemingly unphased by their singer's absence from proceedings, Davidson realised his lead vocal was being carried by the massed voices of the people packed into the tiny record shop on Eden St. Everyone was smiling, everyone cared.

It's been 10 years since you started singing our songs back to us. To celebrate we are self-releasing a super limited LP edition of our debut album "Contact! Contact!" on orange vinyl with revivified artwork from original designer Alex Curtis/White of We Three Club (www.wethreeclub.com)

about

Tellison London, UK

Tellison is a failed minor league indie rock band from London with acute organisational difficulties. They've released three albums and a bunch of singles.

Back in 2015 Tellison dusted off their guitars and referencing conventions, stepped up to take another swing at, if not the big time, at least the medium time and released "Hope Fading Nightly".

Things never quite go to plan.
