In 2007 and the very first few days of 2008 Tellison spent many many hours in houses and studios between Fife and London recording songs. Those songs became their debut album "Contact! Contact!". Some truly kind people bought that record and helped them to go on tour all over Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. On these adventures Tellison met all kinds of new people, some of whom had bought their record and others who were just hearing about them for the first time, some of these people liked to make remixes. Tellison eagerly handed over raw, unmixed versions of the songs that made up their album to these people. Over the next few weeks and months the things their songs had been turned into filtered back by post, by email and handed to them on CDRs at shows. The band listened to them and were amazed at what other people could do and had done with their small songs. They decided to put the songs onto a CD that other people might hear and be amazed by too.
